I was able to review the Antioxidant Berry Masque from Lady Soma. The masque is made with antioxidant cranberries and blueberries, Vitamins A, C, and E, and pomegranate. The masque helps detoxify your skin and enhances cellular renewal and collagen production.
Upon opening the jar of berry masque, I almost wanted to eat it because it smells SO good! It is smooth and creamy and went smoothly on my face. However, within a few seconds of applying the mask, it started to burn. I left it on for a few minutes but had to wash it off sooner than the 8 minutes suggested time. When I emailed the company, thinking something was wrong, I was told that this is normal and people with sensitive skin, like myself, probably shouldn't use it as often or for as long. So, I guess it was doing it's job of creating a microdermabrasion-effect. It's similar to a chemical peel, but better for you because it uses organic and natural ingredients!
