Taco Bueno has a new item on their menu called Bueno Bowls. I was excited to get to try a Bueno Bowl of my own and impressed with the options available for customizing the Bowl! First, you choose whether you want lettuce or cilantro lime rice, then you choose veggies, steak, chicken, or taco meat. I chose cilantro lime rice with chicken:
Make your choice of beans next: refried, pinto, or black. I chose black beans!
Then, you're able to choose toppings for your bowl, including pico de gallo, cheese, lettuce, corn salsa, or grilled onions and peppers. You're also able to add some extra toppings for an extra charge.
You can also choose your dressing, which I believe is citrus vinaigrette or jalapeno ranch. Since I have a dislike of ranch, I went with the vinaigrette, thinking I woudln't eat it, but I tried it and it was really, really good! I poured it on the second half of my bowl!
Piled high with deliciousness!!!
I was really impressed with my Bueno Bowl. I felt like they didn't give as much chicken as they advertise, but even then, it was still more than enough food and I'll definitely get a Bueno Bowl again! Visit the Taco Bueno site to find a store near you and follow the restaurant on Twitter and Facebook, too!
