Captain Fussybuckets and Baby D were THRILLED to get to review the "Counting Kids" DVD from Snapatoonies! Snapatoonies is a new DVD series from Jordle Productions…two mommies who wanted to make quality educational videos for their kids! These moms didn't know where to start, but the end result is FABULOUS and both of the boys LOVE this DVD and the catchy "Snapatoonies" theme song!
"Counting Kids" is a super cute, fun, educational way to learn and practice numbers. We've watched the videos quite a few times already. This DVD is about Nathan and his friends. He counts all of his friends and rhymes all the way from zero to ten.
The Captain has known his numbers for awhile now, but I have noticed that he is using "zero" a LOT more since he started watching the Snapatoonies "Counting Kids" DVD. And the way Baby D is watching intently, it is sure to teach him his numbers soon!
Here is a preview of "Counting Kids":
And here's something wonderful about Snapatoonies…..you can purchase either the Canadian version, with words like "colour" and the Canadian pronounciation of the letter "z" OR the US version with "color" and US words! It's a small difference, but when young learners are absorbing everything, it's important that it's the "correct" way and great that Snapatoonies gives us the choice!
Here are the four current Snapatoonies DVDs available, with more in production!
Check out "Counting Kids" and the other available titles at the Snapatoonies website. You can purchase this and other Snapatoonies DVDs at Amazon for around $20. Make sure to follow Snapatoonies on Twitter and Facebook and subscribe to the Snapatoonies YouTube channel. You can also read the Snapatoonies blog.
Snapatoonies is a sponsor in the Shake, Rattle, & Roll Giveaway Hop, beginning on May 22nd! Make sure to come back then to enter to win!
