Are you looking for a great event for kids? Amtrak's Fifth Annual National Train Day is coming to over 75 locations around the US! National Train Day is an annual event that has family-friendly festivals and kid-focused events, teaching kids about trains and what makes train travel special. Check out the National Train Day website to find a location near you, as well as the events that will be taking place at each location.
Check out some of the awesome entertainment that will be happening at select locations (check website to find where these events are going to take place.)
- fun, interactive, and educational activities for kids – teaching children how trains work!
- tours of freight and commuter trains and beautiful private railroad cars – for adults and children!
- Dora the Explorer will be present in select locations!
- Radio Disney will be emceeing all of the events!
- Amtrak will be giving away free t-shirts and other memorabilia on-site for adults and children!
Train passengers are also encouraged to submit videos, pictures, and stories at NationalTrainDay.com, National Train Day on Facebook, and @natltrainday on Twitter for a chance to win prizes!

I'm going to check out what's happening in my area and would love to take Mr 4.5 as he is a big fan of trains! Thanks for the giveaway, I used to have stackadoos when I was little but didn't know that's what they were called.
We don't have any train stations in our area so we won't be able to check anything out!
