We all had a pretty great Christmas! We were blessed to be able to give and get some good stuff! Here are just a few of our “favorite things!”
First up…Baby D. He was hard to shop for, because he had a birthday just a week before. But, we got him this ADORABLE owl hat from Yarnaholics!
Isn’t that the most precious thing you’ve ever seen? It is high quality, made with love, warm, and durable! Heather from Yarnaholics just asked for a head measurement, and we told her what we wanted and away she went! Shipping was free because we scored an amazing Cyber Monday deal, but every other day, shipping is very reasonable at $3!
Yarnaholics works with you and customizes their hats the way you want! They also make scarves, headbands, toys, and more! Check out their Etsy site!
Next up, Captain Fussybuckets got a cape from Power Capes! He’s being a complete grump because he is sick, so I can’t get a good picture, but here’s a fuzzy picture from Christmas Day:
Here is a compliant child model in a similar cape:

He loves this cape, though! He always like to pretend he is a super hero and fly around the house, so I knew this would be PERFECT for him! And it is! Baby D even likes to wear it!
Power Capes has an amazing selection of capes and other superhero gear for kids and adults! They have initial capes, emblem capes, already made capes, or you can create your own! Check out their selection here. Power Capes has a lot of stuff on sale right now, so check them out!
One of our other favorite gifts was FAMILY GAME NIGHT 4: The Game Show for the Wii! (this game is also available for Xbox 360 and PS3!) The game is rated E for everyone, so I chose to give it to Daddy and Captain Fussybuckets for Christmas. The Captain has been calling it “The Potato Game” because it has a picture of Mr. Potato Head on the front. He has been asking to play it and really has a fun time with it. It’s a bit hard for him, but he is learning quickly!
This video game is awesome because it has recreated some of the old Hasbro favorites, such as Connect 4, Yahtzee!, Scrabble, Sorry!, Bop-It, and Monopoly. It’s all like a big game show, and can be played together, which I love! This is perfect for family game night! You can check out this game at the EA games website!

**I did not receive any compensation for writing this post. We just love these Christmas gifts!**

Looks like you all had a great Christmas and the Owl hat is very cute
What a fun post!! I wish I had great pics to share on my blog, but my child is the exact opposite of the "compliant child".
